Shared Object

The Company

Shared Object is a software development company with a long experience in research and development projects.

We have a background in academia, and have participated in numerous Swiss and European Union R&D projects. We founded Shared Object in 2008 to work on challenging development projects.

Our current project is SoftPeelR - a system for managing curling tournaments. Past projects included portfolio management applications for banks in Geneva.

For SoftPeelR, we are using Ruby on Rails. We chose this framework for its convenience for mapping objects to the database, its maturity, and its open source license. In the portfolio applications for our bank clients, we primarily use Java technologies as well as JavaScript.
